CJ Reynolds is research associate, University of South Florida College of Marine Science and has extensive experience developing research on stakeholder information needs, attitudes and values related to adaptation and public finance. At USF, she works with scientists to manage federally-funded climate change adaptation research grants and collaborates with local government staff on adaptation and sustainability projects. She has 30 years of experience developing strategic communications programs and providing guidance to government agencies, elected officials, trade associations, international corporations and non-profits to effectively develop messages on emerging scientific issues and policies. Prior to USF, CJ was a division director for Mérieux NutriSciences, a global technical services company, and director of public relations for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. CJ has a Bachelor’s in Journalism from Northern Illinois University. She is a Focus Group member of the Florida DEPs Resilient Coastlines Program.
