Danny is currently working with Tetra Tech as a Mitigation Programs Manager supporting floodplain management as well as emergency management with various communities around the country.

After spending four years working on The Florida CRS Initiative with the Florida Division of Emergency Management / Mitigation Bureau overseeing a staff of three I have moved to the private industry working for Tetra Tech. Danny was the Nassau County Emergency Management Director for two years.  Previous to serving as EM Director, he served as the Regional Domestic Security Task Force Planner and a Planner for the Alachua County Emergency Management Office working in their EOC.

Danny worked 30 years with the Insurance Services Office with the last 17 working directly with the Community Rating System in Florida, conducting workshops, field work with over 200 communities and training ISO Staff.

Danny earned his Certified Floodplain Manager designation in 2000 and his Florida Professional Emergency Manager’s designation in 2010, recertified in 2014.  He is active in the Florida Floodplain Managers Association as well as the Association of State Floodplain Managers and the Florida Emergency Preparedness Association.
