As a Coastal Management Specialist for NOAA’s Office for Coastal Management (OCM)  Stewardship Division, Henry “Hank” Hodde serves as a program specialist and liaison for the Coastal Zone Management Programs in the Gulf of Mexico, including those in Florida. He provides national interagency resilience related coordination support for OCM, as well as regional resilience related technical assistance and program support to federal, state and local partners. Hank also serves as the federal liaison to the Gulf of Mexico Alliance (GOMA) Coastal Resilience Team. Before joining NOAA, he studied at the Department of Homeland Security Coastal Resilience Center and also worked as a post-disaster recovery contractor following Hurricane Ike. Hank received his B.S. in Housing Studies from Florida State University and his M.S. in Environmental Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
