As the Community Rating System Coordinator for the City of St. Petersburg, Noah Taylor serves to advise City officials and educate the public about sound floodplain management that goes above and beyond the minimum NFIP’s requirements. His position enhances public knowledge of flooding, lowers flood insurance premiums, and coordinates various City departments to achieve unified floodplain management. Noah is the Co-Chair for the Local Mitigation Strategy Committee for Pinellas County and facilitates the CRS Working Group for the Tampa Bay Region.

Noah has a Bachelor degree in Geology for Eastern Kentucky University and has over 12 years of experience in water quality, water monitoring, and floodplain management, is a certified floodplain manager within the state of Florida, and a Region 1 Director for FFMA.
