Ray Carroll, CFM, MAI, SRA, holds a degree in real estate from FAU. Since 1975 he has practiced in Lee and Collier counties managing a team of appraisers and developing his own appraisal specialties. Today about 75% of his practice is private appraisals related to building permit applications subject to the 50% Rule.
Ray is a licensed Florida real estate broker, a brand new CFM, a private pilot, and the owner of an antique swamp buggy which is still in use. He served the Appraisal Institute at chapter, region and national levels, including as chair of the Young Advisory Council, and as a USPAP instructor. He continues to serve Naples/Collier County through involvement in local non-profits.
