Sally Bishop has had a 29 year career in Emergency Management, spending 7 years at the local level, moving to the Federal level where she worked on 24+ Presidential Disaster Declarations, and then returning to the local level. This project is especially important to her as it presents an opportunity for impact forecasting for local level planners and responders, who don’t have rivers and the standard warning system associated with them, to have the critical information they need ahead of an event in order to warn and notify the general public.
