• Miami, Florida native raised in the Construction Industry
• Worked for a residential developer form 1990 to 1997, left to serve in the United States Marine Corps, 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company from 1997 to 2005
• Deployed to Iraq twice
• Earned Bachelors of Science Degree in 1999
• Taught at Miami Coral Park Senior High from 1999 to 2004
• Returned to the Construction Industry from 2005 to 2013
• In 2013 changed tack and joined the Building Code Enforcement Industry, working for Miami-Dade County as a Building Inspector
