Angie grew up in Callahan, Florida, and moved to Fernandina Beach, Florida in 1990. She attended Florida Community College of Jacksonville. She began her career at Jefferson Smurfit where she started working with schools, providing outreach for the Woodlands Division along with acting as purchasing agent for their Florida, Georgia, and Alabama Divisions. In 2003, she took a position with the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council where she continued working with schools, providing outreach opportunities for middle school students,  Head Start students, and working with after  school programs. One of her favorite duties was designing and implementing programs and trainings  for adults and older teens to work with children. She began working with the City of Fernandina Beach in 2008. Today, she works in the Building Department where she is a Master Business Tax Official and issues Local Business Tax Receipts, oversees the City’s various process for  Resort Rental permitting ,Vehicle for Hire, and Street Performer. She began working with CRS in 2012 and  through outreach efforts and coordination with other City departments the City of Fernandina Beach went from a Class 7 to a Class 6 during the cycle review.

Angie enjoys working with new businesses and seeing existing businesses grow. She also enjoys her newest involvement working with the CRS Program.
