On behalf of the Town of Cutler Bay, Stormwater Utility Manager Yenier Vega (L) accepted a Certificate of Achievement, presented by Vince Seijas (R), Senior Code Officer with Miami-Dade County’s Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources and one of FFMA’s Regional Directors-At-Large, the CRS Users Group for excellence in their Floodplain Management Program and in achieving a Community Rating System Class 4!

This great accomplishment is a result of hard work put in by the Town of Cutler Bay’s Town Council, the Floodplain Mitigation Plan Advisory Committee, their Public Works Department and professional consultants.

Effective October 1, 2019, The Town of Cutler Bay will become the first municipality in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties to reach Class 4 while saving residents 30% on their flood insurance premiums!
